What is the program like for these 2 days?
The 6 islands of the Phi Phi Archipelago are located about 30 nautical miles east of Phuket, in the middle of the ocean. This requires a slightly longer cruise time of around 4 hours. This is one of the reasons why we are doing this tour in two days. Because so we can enjoy a total of 4 dives around Phi Phi. On the conventional day trips, only 2 dives at Phi Phi and 1 additional dive on the outward or return journey are held. The relatively expensive fee for the national park is still due in full. Another advantage is that we are at the Phi Phi dive sites very early on the second day. Because a little later the numerous, large diving boats from Phuket and Krabi arrive. It is not uncommon that like so more than 100 divers stay at a dive site during the same time. Many Thailand travellers also want to visit the Phi Phi Islands anyway. This experience can therefore be combined with diving.
On the first day, the tour departs from Chalong, Phuket at 8 am. During the passage, we prepare the diving equipment in a relaxed manner and hold a detailed dive site briefing. Food, drinking water and hot drinks are available all day long. We have additional ice boxes on board, which can be used for provisions you have brought with you.
When we arrive in Phi Phi, we choose depending on the conditions, the best dive sites. Then we extensively go diving, mostly without meeting another human soul.
In the late afternoon we head to the main island Phi Phi Don, where we check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day. There is the famous viewpoint to see the dreamlike twin beaches, a huge selection of restaurants and bars, fire shows on the beach and lots of shopping opportunities on the promenade.
On the second day, the dive boat leaves at 8 am and goes to two other exciting dive sites around Phi Phi. Then we have a relaxed boat ride back to Phuket where we arrive between 4pm and 5pm.
