The PADI Drift Diver specialty course takes 1 day and includes 1 boat trip with 2 training dives. The Drift Diver certificate enables divers to dive safely at exposed dive site with ocean current. The minimum required age is 12 years.

The PADI Drift Diver Course shows you how to enjoy rivers and ocean currents by “going with the flow” The Drift Diver Specialty course introduces you to the coolest magic carpet ride you’ll ever experience! Drift Diving is nearly effortless and relaxing. You simply glide along and enjoy the rush of flying underwater while the current does the work. At all dive sites in Thailand there is the question how strong the current will be and not if current ist there. Some great dive sites to experience some current are Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai. If you are curious about how ocean current gets created and the whole science behind it and you can’t wait to experience drift diving in person we have some information on ocean currents and tides.
