Marina Bay is south of Camera Bay. This very versatile dive site boasts endless areas of intact hard corals, beautifully vegetated rock formations and often very good visibility up to depths of 40 meters. Variety makes it possible to apply vaerious entertaining diving profiles at this site. In terms of marine life, this dive site is always good for surprises. The western side of Racha Noi can be dived mainly during the dry season between about November to April. For the rest of the season, this side of the island is often exposed to strong Monsoon winds.
Marina Bay impresses most divers with its large coral garden in the middle of the bay. At the southern end are beautiful and intact salad corals. Further south is a large single rock called Marita’s Rock, which looks extremely imposing. A tunnel which you can dive through and large fan corals are located here, as well as at the very northern end of the bay.
In the often clear water, the huge dimensions of the beautifully overgrown rock formations (40 metres) are easily visible. There is a special charm and fascination floating over the rocky edges and looking into the depths of the ocean.
Marina Bay is selected based on the weather conditions, currents, overall safety and suitability for the majority of divers on the boat. We cannot guarantee specific dive sites prior to the boat departing.
