About the PADI Drift Diver Course
Drift diving is all about going with the flow. Instead of swimming against the current, you learn to work with it, gliding along while the water does much of the work.
The PADI Drift Diver course teaches you how to understand currents, control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate while drifting, and stay together with your buddy or group.
Around Phuket, current is simply part of diving, making these skills particularly useful at sites such as Shark Point or Koh Doc Mai.
The course takes one day and includes two training dives from our boat.
Before you start
You need to be a certified diver and at least 12 years old.

Better divers
We don’t teach to the minimum requirements. We build skills, good habits and confidence at each diver’s pace, with very small classes and an emphasis on safety, control and respect for the reef.
Safety first
Safety is non-negotiable. Experienced professionals, well-maintained equipment and boat, proper safety equipment, and recognised diving and local standards guide every dive.
Diving with a lighter footprint
Green Fins standards are part of how we dive. We support Oceans For All and take part in reef clean-ups, marine-life monitoring and other conservation activities.
