I can't swim. Can I still join a snorkeling tour?

Yes. Every guest wears a buoyancy vest that keeps you floating effortlessly, and our guides stay close in the water. Let us know when booking and we'll keep an extra eye on you and pick gentle, shallow spots.

I get seasick. What can I do?

Take motion-sickness tablets about an hour before departure, sit toward the middle of the boat, and keep your eyes on the horizon. Our speedboats are quick and stable, so time on rough water is kept short.

I have back problems. Are the boats suitable?

Speedboat rides can be bumpy. If you have back or neck issues, tell us in advance. We can seat you in the smoothest part of the boat, and may suggest a calmer destination such as Phang Nga Bay.

What happens in monsoon weather?

Safety always comes first. If conditions are unsafe we'll offer an alternative destination, reschedule your trip, or give a full refund. During the May to October monsoon we favour the sheltered waters of Phang Nga Bay.

Can I join a tour while pregnant?

Speedboat travel involves impact and vibration that are generally not recommended during pregnancy. We suggest a gentler private long-tail trip instead. Talk to us and we'll find a comfortable option.

Is there snorkeling on the Phang Nga tour?

The Phang Nga and James Bond tour is mainly a sightseeing and sea-cave canoeing trip. The bay's water is calm but not clear, so it includes little snorkeling. For reef snorkeling, choose Surin, Similan or Koh Rok & Koh Haa.
