A boat with a story

MV Matchanu began life as a working fishing trawler before being carefully transformed into the dive boat she is today. Much of the conversion was carried out by the people who dreamed of creating a small, comfortable dive boat rather than simply buying one.

Today, we’re proud to continue looking after her in the same spirit. From annual shipyard maintenance to quieter solar-powered electrical systems, everything we do is about creating a safe, comfortable day at sea. You’ll usually find the owner on board, making sure every day on the water runs just as it should.

Divers book the boat for the reef. They tend to remember the shade.

Our annual haul-out gives us the time to inspect, maintain and care for MV Matchanu. It’s all part of keeping her ready for another season on the water.
