About the Seal Team course
PADI Seal Team takes scuba a step further for children aged 8 and 9. Instead of simply trying scuba, children work through a series of AquaMissions, learning new skills while completing underwater challenges in the pool.
The first five AquaMissions build their basic scuba skills and lead to PADI Seal Team membership. And then the real fun can continue with Specialty AquaMissions — learning to hover almost weightlessly like an astronaut, finding their way underwater with a compass, discovering what it's like to use an underwater flashlight, taking their first underwater photos and learning more about the aquatic world around them.
When they're old enough to start their Junior Open Water Diver course, AquaMissions 1–5 may count towards their first confined-water training session.
Seal Team is a great way to keep children excited about scuba, learning new things and having fun underwater until they're ready for their Junior Open Water Diver course.
