About the PADI Instructor Development Course

The IDC is the step from leading divers to teaching them. It covers PADI teaching methodology, how to structure and present knowledge development, demonstration-quality skills, and how to manage students safely in confined and open water. It concludes with the Instructor Examination, which PADI conducts separately.

Aloha Diving does not conduct the IDC directly. Instead, we arrange Instructor Development Courses through trusted IDC partners we work with in Phuket.
