About the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course
The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course is a dry course and does not require any dives. You can complete the certification on its own, or combine it with any of our dive courses or diving day trips if you'd like to put your new knowledge into practice straight away.
Enriched air nitrox contains more oxygen and less nitrogen than ordinary air, allowing longer no-decompression limits — particularly useful for repetitive dives over a day or a dive trip.
You'll learn how to analyse your cylinder, understand and manage oxygen exposure, and set your dive computer for the correct gas mix. Once certified, you can dive with enriched air containing up to 40% oxygen.
Nitrox is the most popular PADI Specialty, and for good reason: it's a simple way to get more out of many of your dives.
