Promthep Cape is Phuket’s most famous scenic lookout and is located southwest of the Rawai coast. Meanwhile, the nearby Windmill viewpoint which is a popular attraction for individual travelers and locals, is no longer an insider tip. Especially in the evening, many onlookers populate the rocky hills to catch a glimpse of the picturesque backdrop and the atmospheric sunset over the open ocean.
Our coastal and sunset cruise takes us in a pleasant sea breeze, very relaxed along the majestic coast Rawai’s and the imposing rock of Prompthep Cape. Between Yanui and Nai Harn Beach, we stop at a nearby island to swim and snorkel.
The golden hour just before sunset, bathes the fairytale landscape in a warm light. On the deck of the boat, in the first row and away from the crowds, we watch how the sun at the horizon is going down into the ocean slowly.
Before we return to the pier, we enjoy a romantic dinner with Thai dishes on board.
The meeting point is the “pink lighthouse” at Chalong Pier at 3:00 pm. At 8 pm we are back in the harbour.
