Koh Bida Nok is one of the best dive sites at Phi Phi Islands and is located on the outer, southeastern end of the Phi Phi Islands archipelago. The strikingly shaped limestone rock juts out of the ocean with a correspondingly shallow entry into the sheltered bay. The dive site is accessible to certified divers of all experience levels. The dive site is located in an underwater national park, which means that try scuba diving and open water diver courses are not allowed.

The underwater topography is diverse with sandy bottoms, sloping reefs, steep walls, small caves, large cracks and an enormous variety of healthy hard and soft corals. Koh Bida Nok is known for its snapper schools, which extend over large parts of the reefs. Trevally, barracuda and tuna share the habitat with many different anemonefish, surgeon fish and butterfly fish, amongst many others. The rare ghost pipefish can often be found in and around the large coral blocks. Blacktip reef sharks and rare leopard sharks often cruise through the shallow reefs. This can be a treat for snorkelers. Whale shark sightings are also possible from May to August. Turtles, sea snakes and honeycomb moray eels are as common as cuttlefish and octopuses. A special highlight is to dive into the giant snapper schools and being surrounded by thousands of these beautiful silver-gold fish.
