Looking for the first step in working in the scuba diving industry as a career?
The SSI Instructor course is the largest and most important step in the career of a SSI Dive Professional.
You will inspire, motivate and develop the diving experience of new divers that they become enthusiastic divers for long term. In the Instructor Training Course (ITC) you will enhance your sales approach and your knowledge of the industry and develop your training skills. You will be trained in the fields of professional presentation and sales techniques through workshops and practical applications. It is your chance to learn how to offer divers an unique experience: “The Ultimate Dive Experience”.
Minimum age
18 years
Previous experience in diving
SSI Advanced Open Water Certification or equivalent from another training agency
SSI Diver Stress and Rescue or equivalent
SSI Science of Diving
SSI Dive Guide or equivalent from another training agency
Min. 100 logged dives and 65 hours dive time
Fist Aid Certificate not older than 24 month
Medical Certificate signed by a doctor not older than 12 month
O2 Provider not older than 24 month
